📌 About the Scheme

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana is an education assistance scheme introduced by the Labour & ESI Department. Through this scheme, financial support is provided to the children of registered construction workers to help them continue their education from school level to professional courses.

💰 Scholarship Benefits

• The scholarship amount is provided annually as per the course duration.
• The number of scholarships depends on the applications received.
• The benefit can be availed only once per year.
• Applicants are eligible to apply even if they are applying for other departmental schemes.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicable for General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, and EBC categories.
• The applicant must be the child of a registered construction worker.
• The student must be studying in a recognized school or college.

📚 Eligible Classes & Courses

• Class VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X
• Higher Secondary (+2) and Graduation (+3)
• Postgraduate courses such as M.A, M.Com, and M.Sc
• Professional courses including B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech
• Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, B.Ed, Teacher Training
• Architecture, Hotel Management, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy

📄 Required Documents

• Aadhaar Card of the student
• Copy of Bank Passbook (with Account Number and IFSC Code)
• Passport-size Photograph
• Marksheet of the last examination passed
• College ID Card (for higher or professional courses)
